Amazing
It was so exciting to see grandparents streaming into the prayer room at our church. Within a short time the Team Grandparents Prayer Board was covered with little red hearts, and on each heart the name of a grandchild. Standing side by side grandparents prayed (some silently, some out loud) for each of those grandchildren, praying for each of those hearts to know, love, and serve our Lord.
June 7th - following the morning service at Christ Community Church in Lemont, Illinois Team Grandparents will be meeting and sharing with the grandchildren of our church and our neighborhood. Grandparents are passing out cookies, lemonade, frisbees, balloons, and prayer bracelets. The grandparents of Christ Community Church want our children to know they have grandparents who love and pray for them everyday.
